Meeting Minutes From August 13, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 7:12 pm by Tim Gowan.  Board Members present were Tim Gowan, Paul Dahley, and Wayne Peterson.  Members present were Dallas Neumiller, Don Purpur, Dan Lemler, and Lynn Stallman. 

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Treasurer’s report was read by Tim Gowan.  We have $5,598.10 in the checking account as of 8/13/09.  Motion was made by Wayne to accept the report.  Motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS:

Jane Peterson is looking into web site addresses to set up a new web site for the group.  She should have more info at the next meeting. 

August 22, 2009 is the date of a ride to honor Roger Ready.  The ride begins at the Broken Drum in Grand Forks.  It would be nice if the RRVM showed up in force for this ride in Roger’s memory. 

Tim Gowan stated we should start deciding on a charity for next year’s (2010) show.  Anyone who has any ideas can bring them to a meeting or inform a Board member of the RRVM. 

The date of the next meeting of the RRVM will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Italian Moon in Grand Forks, ND, starting at 7 PM. 

Motion was made by Wayne, seconded by everyone, to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 PM.  Motion Passed.
